Nuke useful scripts, gizmos and so on

Well, I did work on my scripting skills and I really want to share it.
This will be the start of a new series, that will be updated as often as I find time. All the scripts and gizmos I will share are production tested and found useful.

Urban Cruiser Webspecial online

So it is done. The all new Urban Cruiser is released and is now featured with a new website that was done by our Team in Munich. Check it out here.

I was responsible for the look creation and the environment setup as well as the final compositing. We did some tests in 3d and finally decided to create the whole environment inside Nuke. It was a combination of 3d and 2d, where we exported a cubic geometry to map the 360 panoramic image on. My college unwarped the image using ImageModeller and provided me with high-resolution textures. I then imported everything into Nuke and rebuild the set from the shooting. The advantage was, that with this technique we were able to paint out distracting elements and add tiny details in Nuke, so the process was much faster because we safed the re-rendering process.

An other advantage was the ability to re-use the environment for all the other shots. I made a customizable a gizmo that was simply loaded into the other shots.
