In the last 10 years I started to wonder a lot about the industry I am working in. There is so much going on, like people getting treated really badly, a lot of overtime, a lot of companies going down, underbidding productions, bad management, no business plan or vision of the company leaders. Now I read so much about it, about new approaches, like the VFX manufacturing process, or setting up unions. Here we go! Our latest Commercial done by the wonderful team at TheMill Chicago for the last couple of weeks. CG moose, a talking tree and a lot of butterflies!! I worked on that as a Comp / MattePainting / Animation Artist …haha Hope you like it
Finally the -for us at least- long awaited trailer for BigGame is online. Scanline VFX Munich did pretty much all of the VFX work on it. I myself did a couple of the explosion and AirForce One Crash scenes, and I took over the Compositing Supervision for around 40+ shots. We had a great team and nice Client, so I thing the final result looks really good! Check out the trailer, it is filled with VFX shots and make sure to watch the movie!

Nr 1 of 4 Spots is online now. It is aired in Swiss only, so for all my friends, here it is, found on the Web Now what did we do ? Well, actually we added the 2 fish, some water fx and of course we changed the sky. I was comp supe on this clip, which turned out to be running through very smoothly. thx caroline and sebastian for the fantastic work check it out here
Cloud Atlas is not only a fantastic movie, it was a great team to work with at Scanline VFX. We made a lot of nice shots, and I have to say, it was fun. (more…)
I am very proud to announce that I was part of the OSCAR winning VFX Team of the latest Scorsesee Movie – HUGO
Even more so that I was working on some of the major shots of the movie, including the massive virtual camera move into the train station, which opened the film.
After a short break doing some supervision on smaller children movies I am back on the bigger shows joining the amazing team of ScanlineVFX First job: The Avengers (more…)
